Size Guide

Size Guide

Finding the right fit should feel effortless. The measurements below are intended as a general guide for Malibutique apparel and swimwear.

Because our collection includes a variety of fabrics, silhouettes, coverage levels, and designs, fit may vary slightly between styles. Please review the individual product description for any item-specific guidance, such as runs small, relaxed fit, minimal coverage, or size up for additional coverage.

When a product includes its own measurements or fit recommendations, those details should be used in addition to this general size guide.

How to Measure

Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust while keeping the measuring tape level around your body.

Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist.

Hips
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

For the most accurate result, keep the measuring tape comfortably close to the body without pulling it too tightly.

Swimwear Fit

Many Malibutique swimwear styles are designed with adjustable straps or ties, allowing you to personalize the fit.

Triangle tops and bikini bottoms described as minimal coverage or revealing are intentionally cut smaller than traditional full-coverage swimwear. If you are between sizes or prefer additional coverage, we generally recommend selecting the larger size.

Please refer to the product description for the specific coverage and fit of each style.

One-Size Styles

Our one-size garments are generally designed with a relaxed, oversized, adjustable, or flowing silhouette.

Because the fit can vary depending on the garment’s cut and fabric, each one-size product page may include additional measurements or guidance. One-size does not mean that every style will fit every body in exactly the same way.

For flowing cover-ups and kaftans, consider the garment’s:

  • Bust or body width
  • Overall length
  • Sleeve opening
  • Fabric stretch
  • Intended silhouette

Between Sizes

When deciding between two sizes, consider your preferred fit:

  • Choose the smaller size for a closer, more fitted look.
  • Choose the larger size for additional comfort or coverage.
  • For styles described as running small, size up.
  • For oversized or relaxed styles, your usual size will generally provide the intended fit.
